Definitely the Max Payne series
Max Payne series for me. Just finished the 3rd episode, i liked it too. It's Not as good as the 2 episodes developped by Remedy but really enjoyable still.
This franchise is a diamond among TPS games.
I would have to say all three mass effect games there awesome.
Seems like the Max Payne games are very good according to you guys here. I never tried it out myself, maybe it's about time to do so now.
Gears of War FTW along with GTA and Splinter Cell, xbox 360 is easily the best console just because of Gears of WarOriginally Posted by RedAngelX

Splinter Cell and Metal Gear should be classified as infiltration games i think, because you don't really shoot tons of enemies in a row. Sometimes in these games, the constraint is to avoid killing people (depending on the difficulty level or the objectives of the mission). You can always choose to stun or kill an ennemy. In third-person shooter games, you simply vaporize anything blocking your progression.

however the best TPS must be GTA series , they rule !!!
gta series can't lose
assassin's creed are also good game, especially brotherhood
