hello everyone what is your most must scene RTS Games of all time.One of my best RTS games was Command And Conquer Generals and Zero Hour.And i also played for hours on Age Of Empires 3.whats your favorate RTS Game of all time??????
Anno 1404 and the "Total War" series of games are my favorites.
In terms of balancing and most fun per buck: Star Craft & Broodwar-Addon
I also found Empire Earth pretty addicting when it came out.
Age of Empires 2 - by far the best RTS I've ever played.
I've played 1 and 3 too, but IMO the second one is best
at the same time it's probably the game I've played the most
I still find it challenging to play random map and random civilization against 7 computer players with standard victory.
Of course I have the Conquerors expansion installed, since you don't need to rebuild your farms all the time then and I think there were some new civilization bonuses and units as well.
I've also played a few minutes some early version of C&C and Warcraft but I never really got into them.
Definitely Age of Empires 2. I'd love to see a remake of that game just with a little better graphics.
yeah age of empires 2 rules aswell shame they didnt bring a high definition version of the game
My first RTSes were Starcraft and the original Age of Empires, still my favorites. I also really liked "Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds", which was built on the Age of Empires 2 engine. It was like playing AoE with AT-ATs.
There is actually a free game called Age of Empires Online which is basically AoE2 with better more cartoony graphics.Originally Posted by darkma77er

Hopyfully sometime in the next year of two we might see a trailer on the making of Age Of Empires 4 i hope they do because the age of empires collection is one of the best collections i have ever player.So hopyfully we will se Age Of Empires 4 before 2013-2014
gotta say Age of empires 2 too, best rts I ever played. well also Medieval total war 2 but that wasn't really an RTS.
