np. ps3 media server works with the ps3 from your pc. it's a little program, free to download and runs in the background of your pc



I never had any luck using wmp11 to stream to ps3. tried a whole bunch of stuff but it was a no go.

easiest thing is hdmi cable from pc to tv (if you have hdmi out on your vid card)

my pc is no where close to where the ps3 will be so cant do that. hopefull wmp will work for me.



Does 320GB really make a difference? Will I actually use all that space or would 160GB be plenty sufficient?

i think it'll make a difference
if you put games on and your ps3 is modded, the games can be 5-45gbs
if you store any blurays on there they can be big. some of my blu rays are 30+gb

Dude, check its got 3.55 firmware or lower on it first and then your sorted! Then PM me and I'll give you new new custom firmware and its all good! :)

Don't just get if of the web because if its dodgy your screwed.. get it off me instead and you have no chance of bricking your new ps3....
