Thread: New Counter-Strike by Valve

Have you heard?
Valve has confirmed that a new Counter-Strike will release next year.. early 2012.
The name will not be Counter-Strike2.. name is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
It will not be on PC only, it will also be able to xbox 360 and playstation 3!
- New guns and some guns from 1.6 will be there but improved.
- 2 new granades... Molotov (makes fire) and Decoy (Like the one from Cod black ops, it will make sound to confuse players).
- revamped versions of classic maps
- more game modes
- matchmaking
yea there is probably more...

So to start a discussion... Do you think it will be popular as Cs 1.6 or even better??

I heard that news for a coble a days ago. :)

I have been playing counter-strike since 1.3 that's like 10 years ago or something like that. But I followed the releases of new versions and the latest is source. Source and Condition zero didn't manage to for fill my expectations. I'm still playing 1.6 and I think it's awesome, the best game ever made so far!

I doubt that they can create a better game with the new version of Counter-Strike.
