Thread: Playstation 3 or XBOX 360?

Are you a Microsoft XBOX 360 fan? or are you a Sony PS3 fan?

For me ive always been an Xbox fan cos i think that XBOX Live gives you alot more than Playstation Network :)

Xbox live and psn are both on par with each other in regards to what they offer, xbl has last fm, psn has qriocity, they both have netflix, and they both allow you to have some sort sort of avatar, sony just doesnt force it on you, the service though cost $60 for xbl while psn offers everything for free and while they may have a subscription service, it cost less than gold for xbl and brings on much better perks like free games, dlc and discounted prices that more than makes up for the price of admission as an owner of all current consoles I will go with the ps 3, as it's software line up is well beyond that of what microsoft has accomplished on the other hand I also got tired of their bs against hackers all the lawsuits and the 1 month downtime, the userbase is smaller also but it cannot be denied that in terms of 1st party games sony has done a much better job than ms, my friends are also split among the xbox and ps 3 but I much rather play online with my ps 3 these days im tired of dealing with children on the xbox. Also I had jailbroken my ps 3 but the online was a feature I was not gonna allow myself to lose, idc care about free games I want to play with my friends

In my case it is the XBOX 360, but I also own a PS3 for BluRay and its exclusives. Best of both worlds .

both have there perks but i would have say ps3, for the fact its blueray,plays avi,free online, and know it can be modded with custom firmware!

PS3, it does more than the 360 and I don't have to pay to play with friends, even though I don't right now I don't think I ever will. Not since I can play any video game I want :p

I'v just been a PlayStation since they came out way back. I bug my friend by saying x-box is a bunch of 12 year old kids. lol no offence. But i havent picked up a controller in 6 months. And with the PlayStation network being hacked hope no one was pumping there credit cards in lol

Most of you seem to be choosing ps3, but what are your thoughts on the xbox kinect.
I personally think its great, i use it often and soon with all the new updates shown in the Microsoft Press Conference, i think it will just keep on getting better and better :)
