    Default L.A. Noire

I'm about 40% done with it so far, and I find this game to be both intriguing and challenging. The cases are totally believable and the character animation are crazy (thanks to Motion Scan technology). You can usually tell when someone is lying or hiding something.

For those who are still on the fence, my best way of explaining it would be the perfect marriage of Grand Theft Auto (the other side of the law of course), Mafia II, and a CSI game. If you liked any of those 3, I believe you could get something out of this game for you.

Those who own this... what do you think of it so far?

    Any qualms?

I love the game so far, just got to the part where it asks for the second disc. The face animation is pretty good but not as good as advertised, sometimes you just can't tell whether they're lying or not. It might just be the end of my falcon 360 with all the overheating/freezing issues I've seen online with this game so it better be worth it till the end :p

Great game. I am very impressed that a game developer was brave enough to make such a slow paced game, and pull it off!

I know, that's what I like about it. It's a slower paced game where if you go too fast you WILL miss stuff and you won't do well...

Go rent it. If you live in the Eastern US... try and find a Family Video... 6 bucks for 5 nights of pay $15 and get half off all rentals (including games) for 30 days. Rent 2 games and you made you money back.

Though you'll need a lot of time to play it... it IS super slow paced.

To many games are run and gun shooters or some other tired format. To actually try and create something new and different is what we always complain to get companies to do. We as gamers should embrace and support when someone actually tries to think outside the box or all we well end up playing in 10 years are shooters and Japanese rpg's.
