Thread: Quest #7 Iphone/Android App Graphics [CLOSED]

So we need some graphics done!

The first part is where you upload the image which will become your icons in the Apple App Store and on respective iOS devices. All of your icons will be created from a single image. This image should be representative of your site and needs to be a 512 X 512 pixel PNG file with no transparency and saved as a single layer. You will need to create this image in the image editing program of your choice.

The next part is where you define your Splash Screen. This is the screen that the user sees the first time they open the App on their device and whenever they login to your site. You have two choices here. You can upload your own image to be used as the app screen or the Mobile Publisher can build one using your logo and the previously set colors.

If you wish to upload your own custom image, it needs to a 640 pixel by 960 pixel PNG image saved with no transparency and in a single layer. This image should be saved at 72 DPI.

Finally, you will upload an Icon that will be your App Image for the Android App. This should be 310 X 140 pixel PNG image saved in 24 Bit with no layers or transparency.

We obviously would like our users to have a hand in a app that they primarily will use...



So... yeah!

If your gonna create graphics for the app make sure you create them in a set. (As in all of the above)

Hopefully we get some really great submissions! Use tracker logos everything! Make it look good!

Got some feedback for you guys!

Try to curve the corners for the icon image.

We do not simply want a rehash of our theme.

Use tracker logos, really show what we are about.

There is really no need for our url to be in there or a version number.

ok, i was under the impression the apple store automatically curves the edges, as all apps are identical in shape (I doubt everyone just happened to get it right) But I will work up something new.

I think they do but yeah if not too much trouble do one with and without.

Also it doesn't have to be very colorful. Something simply and elegant would do nicely.

that what thought aswell plus they ask that its done with "no transparency" thats why I didn't even bother
