Thread: Quest #2 Banner Competition! [CLOSED]

So TIv3 is almost upon us...

Now its time to enlist your help



We have decided to take a different approach with the banner. This time it will be intergrated into the background to give you creative types more leeway.

You may choose any 1920*1200 (minimum) background you like an intergrate the TI banner into it.

Here is something to help you visualize




Obviously you will need to have "Torrent Invitesv3"

The slogan "What are your dreams?" should be in there too.

The gap you see between the top bar and the forum is where the main banner stuff needs to be within 960 pixels from the center. So 480 pixel either side of the center.

Other than that the background you choose is up to you. Although we do prefer space or pirate ships blowing each other up or or..

or or polar bears on fire... IN SPACE

or or massive space battles ... IN SPACE

(You know general over the top stuff)

The only other color besides black grey white is the hyperlink blue that you see on this theme.


*edit* It would be better if you could save your background and banner seperately. The banner should be mostly transparent. If you save it as two you may ignore width restrictions on your banner. You may now also submit only a banner without a background. However it needs to be mostly transparent with only the TI slogan visible. Obviously we would prefer sets of background+banner.

The winner of the quest gets their name immortalized at the bottom of our site credited as designer!

I'm curious what your inspiration for that theme is. With the fiery font and all the red, It sort of looks like well... the underworld. =/

Also, the banner says "What Are *You* Dreams?"

when you go left, i go right. when you want black, i give you white...
actually, i just now realized how much time i spent doing THAT with my limited resources. WAY TO MUCH TIME !!! but i really want a light theme also. doesn't have to be default but i'd use it if it was available. make it available.
