Thread: 100 Mbit Semidedicated - 1 Month (225 GB)

Alright guys, there are slightly less than two weeks until Eschaton's month with the semidedicated box is completed. I would like to get the applications rolling so I could make a quick turnover to the next person. Again, I'll be offering the following:

You will receive the server for one (1) month. Things are going well with last month so I will probably continue this for as long as I can. As you probably already know, this is money out of my pocket, but I just wanted to provide outstanding/deserving members at T-I, those who may not have the resources to get their own box, with an opportunity to access one.

This will help T-I in two ways. Obviously you will be able to move up user levels at whatever trackers; thus, earning invitations and providing them here. If you didn't have the basic understandings of a seedbox you will learn them and could possibly pass on that knowledge to other members.

I've only used the box for a week so there are probably other people to ask regarding speed; but for the most part, I could help you with anything else.

Things to consider:

Yes, this is a semidedicated server so there are three (3) other users on this with you. You will all have unique IPs, but you will be sharing RAM and processing power.

You don't have root access. You cannot extract files.

I simply mean you can't VNC into the server; so you can't do any configuration to it. Yes, you could still create torrents with the rutorrent frontend, save it on your local PC, and upload it to the site. Although, if you wanted to upload files to BMTV, you won't be able to unless you've pre-downloaded an extracted copy from some place else. You can still cross-seed similar files where ever you like. Rar scene releases can be cross-seeded to most scene trackers. It works no different from your local BT client, just with restricted options (I'm not too sure if RSS feeds works properly), a tad slower, and working off a webui. Hopefully that answers a few things.

I won't be looking for anything specific in your applications. It's upto you to provide whatever you feel is necessary to win this box. Although, I could say, "Don't be plain and boring."

Nice giveaway. I need this seedbox since my last seedbox is expired. I cannot afford seedbox like this since the space is big so its must expensive and will be good use to me if i get it.
My lasy seedbox only let 25GB space. Thanks for reviewing and hope i can get it. Half a month also enough :)

Excellent oppotunity for new and experienced seedbox users. I currently have a cpl more days on a seedbox that I won for a week from CeralGOAT. Thansk to Forbidden who also won I have learned a great deal about the fuctions and use of a seedbox. Although I was able to buff several of my trackers, due to ISP capping my bandwidth (coupled with ym previous downloads for the month, games/movies)) I have been close to going over so haven't downloaded a lot. I would like to be considered for this apportunity in order to take advantage of some other invites that are being offer to new trackers and get a jump on the competition as far as ratio is concerned. It is hard to compete on a home connection without a seedbox. I can provide proofs or even profile links for TrackerAccess, MY Anonamouse and my favorite tracker BCG. Speedtests of my home connection are also available.

if i am given a chance to use this sb, i promise to help the whole community in a more effective manner.
I can get power user and up in bitmetv and bitme and will get invites in them to share them with the great members of this tracker.
I just need a good sb right now, I have bitme, bcg,bitmetv, scc and hdbits. but i dont have a sb, if i get an sb then i can get promoted and i can really get some good invites which i can share over here. more over i have to ask for credits as i am running out of uploaded data.
I have literally stop using some trackers as i dont have upload in them.
this type of one month of sb can really give me great bost and i can get relieved.
I am accumulating every penny so that i can have my own dedicated sb but i think it will not be possible for me to purchase it this month. I have many other responsibilities on me and need to give them first priority.
moreover speed over here in India really sucks, high net speed is very expensive here( if we want a good connection over here with 2 mbps up/dl then we have to pay equivalent to 2 good dedicated sb )

Hello to all users. First, tnx for this opportunity. I used several shared seed boxes where speed wasn't so good. I have very slow upload speed on current ISP. Ill use your seedbox for better ratio, that will give me several new invitations to share with this community to return for invitations i get on this forum. My home connection speed is very low from which I cant make good ratios on Sparvar, waffles , Iplay and some other. I need the seedbox very much to maintain good ratios on it. I hope this time you consider me. If you want I can also provide speedtest.

-Second,I've used a feral's seedbox before,and I am familiar with putty,rtorrent,wtorrent and even irssi auto download script stuff so I can use the box efficiently.

-Third,next month if I'm lucky enough,however having a seedbox may add the chance,I'll get a high level tracker which is hard to seed,I need a seedbox to buffer at the beginning so I can survive easily.
