it's weird, back when i was still a beer "novice" kind of guy, i only liked "real" beer and none of that light, watery crap. stuff like guiness, beck's dark. now that i understand beer better, i actually like the crappier beers. i love coors light. it's refreshing and easy to drink. i still love guiness but these days, beers like that are too sweet/fattening. one or two is good but i can't drink anymore than that. it doesn't help that i'm getting older too; i gain a lot more weight from drinking than i did in the past.
I'd probably have to go with Bell's Hopslam or Bell's Lager. Both fantastic beers. As for lighter more generic beers, I really like Leinenkugel's Honey Weiss.
