As I'm from UK I'd have to say a good old chippy!!
I do not eat at any fast food joints anyone here would recognize (probably) as I am not in the US or UK. But I advise folks to be kind to their livers and to pay heed to the list below which contains items at McDonald's that do NOT contain HFCS as HFCS (high-fructose corn syrup) is toxic to the liver.
French fries, hash browns, chicken nuggets, sausage, diet coke, coffee & iced tea do not contain HFCS or sucrose, provided you don't add sweetening, ketchup or dipping sauces to any of these foods.
Hope it helps.

Well, here in Portugal every fast food establishment is a MacDonnalds. It is rare to find a Burger King here.
But anyway, I only go there like once a month, otherwise I feel bad for eating all that garbage.
Undaunted by the obstacles before him, he barrels through the injustices in search of the truth.

Special thanks to drauka, pulser and Trevor for being amazing.

I would not recommend eating salads at these places. Salads harbor more pathogenic microbes than most other items and one reason is that the workers do not wash their hands enough or properly. I have seen stats on sicknesses due to the spread of pathogens in public places where food is processed and was initially somewhat surprised to read this about salads. Salads are also sprayed with preservatives to increase shelf life. And salads are very low in nutrients anyway and are often sprayed heavily before harvesting.
