Increasing Inbox space for starting members
I would suggest to increase the inbox space of starting members who have not created their intro yet from 1 message to at least 3 messages.
They sometimes ask for info and because of their inbox being full we r not able to reach them..i hope staff considers it.

If they have questions i think they should make use of the 'Starting Member Lounge' which Ive actually seen some users do. I'd be more than happy to answer any questions they have there.
The only questions they should be asking is ones to do with their intro, in which case they can either post in their intro thread, in the starting lounge or send a member of staff a pm, if all that fails there is the contact staff form. The reason they do not get a large pm box is because they do silly things like asking for invites when they are not meant to. If we had the ability to do so the starting members would be restricted to pming staff only.
So I dont see the need for them to have a bigger inbox - they can always use the delete function, I think they are limited as to how many they can send in one day anyways.

Yes, and lately we've been receiving more reports of starting members private messaging other for invites so this restriction is certainly a way to cut down that behaviour.
How about increasing the inbox space of the approved members?
Not too much, but one-two hundred at least.

I believe you are allowed to have 1000 pms (non-vip's is something like 500). If that's enough for staff, it's more than enough for a normal user.Originally Posted by Atropos
If you are running out of space just go to the old ones and delete them page by page. It's an easy and fast method

I say no to this as any starting member should not be PMing members for anything the only thing they should be concerned is with the rules of the site and their intro and they should PM staff for that so see no reason why they should have bigger in-boxes as this will just create further problems with them Pming members for invites

I also don't agree with this, I have already had a couple starting members asking for invites via pm.
Decreasing would be better :P
