Thread: What's the largest conspiracy in history?

Well, you can't just say that one conspiracy is the biggest! For example, the 1947 Roswell incident is a big one. So is the alleged NASA hoax, stating that NASA faked the moon landing and they actually filmed it in one of their studios (which, of course, could not even be done today). Or maybe the JFK assassination one which tries to paint Lee Harvey Oswald as innocent. There is also one involving the death of Marilyn Monroe saying that the U.S. Government had something to do with her death because of her extramarital relationship with John F. Kennedy. Of course, if the government tried to murder every woman he had an affair with, the bodies would certainly stack up noticeably.... But in fact, my favorite conspiracy surrounds the supposed secret death of Paul McCartney of the Beatles. It claims he dies in a car accident at 5 am in the UK in 1966, and was replaced by a perfect duplicate who was also a musical genius...

The attacks on World Tread Center is the largest and worst conspiracy to me. I am not sure who did this, but in the end, the results were pretty interesting.

* America and other countries got into war, so Weapon manufacturers sold weapons of million dollars !!

* Oil companies got the all the oil they wanted, USA become able to control the oil prices.

* Saddam hossain got screwed, he was marked as one of the most enemy of USA.

* Afghanistan came under US control, now USA have closer bases to Pakistan, India, China and Korea, better establishment in Asia.

* Muslims got killed all over the world marked as terrorists. Israel got issues to push Palestine.

* Rich Muslim countries with Oil and Gold like Arab, Emirates, Egypt got scared of western power, as a result more control on oil market.

Thats all I know of, maybe there is more hidden stories. But can't deny this, it looks one hell of a conspiracy to me!!!

The largest conspiracy is by far the monetary system. In terms of the reach of power and scope of effect is has on the every day life of people around the world.

The fiat system is the main tool of controll used to keep the rich rich, and the poor, poor! It is what enables countries to continually wage ongoing wars. Since the gold standard was removed the power of money creation has been placed in the hands of private institutions, with the power to effectively create money out of thin air then lend it to you at interest.

Economic freedom can only be gained through the purchase of tangible assets, namely gold and silver. The financial system will inevitably collapse, its just a matter of time thats why the rich are fleeing to precious metals. I suggests you do the same.

I think from the list you've given JFK. Look into executive order 11110 and you will see why the banks wanted him dead. HE was planning to take away their power of money creation.

I agree with Avalon866. The monetary system, but specifiaclly the federal reserve, is the biggest conspiracy/hoax of them all. All American's are subjegated for an ancient rule that goes against the Constitution. The Zeitgeist films do an excellent job explaining it. (Although, they miss the connections between money and assassinations.)

Among some Jewish religious and extreme right groups is circulating the assertion that the Menorah (golden candelabrum) - which was in 70 C.E. pillaged by Titus's soldiers from the Jewish Temple in Jerusalem - still exists and is secretly kept by the Catholic Church in the cellars of the Vatican.
This rumor surfaces again and again. Most recently, during the visit of Pope Benedict XVI to Israel in May 2009, a small group of extreme right militants demonstrated against the Pope with signs reading "Thief, give back our Menorah!". Historians in general assume that the Menorah - like many other treasures stored in Ancient Rome - had been looted by the Vandals during the Sack of Rome in 455 CE.
