if u say evil as in evil deeds(by men) yes they're are endless examples
they say God exists in search of God itself .. like wise for evil.
There is no such thing as good or evil. There are only actions/events and the consequences/results of those actions. Any attempt to qualify these events is a human need for meaning in a meaningless universe. Is the collapse of a star good or evil?
But Bit_Freedom, if there is no evil then you are saying it is ok to murder and rape! Not at all. The results of these actions not only cause pain and misery, but also prevent social prosperity. A society cannot exist with this kind of chaos, so it is in the individual's interest not to do the actions, because he is part of the group and benefits from the groups prosperity.
It is in this way that evolution can explain the formation of human morality without the need of a supernatural source. Over time, the groups that suppress such activity the best flourish and the ones that don't fade away.
