Thread: Are you prepared for the last day?

If the last day is survivable, I hope to be prepared. In that kind of scenario, it would be better for me to go on my own and get as far away from civilization as possible. I would try to live off the land, etc.

If it isn't survivable.. screw it. I'm taking a nap.

I personally have prepared since i was a little kid.

I was in Boy Scouts so its kinda like what we do. The majority of my close friends also prepare for "doomsday" we do things like plan meeting locations, put together emergency fishing packages/ first aid packages. we practice the bug out plan. we practice with firearms all sizes at all distances. we practice how to cover vehicles tactically so everyone can move safely. one of my friends will bug out to a diff state so i plan on taking his chickens lol.

we have stored emergency rations, personally i can go for about a week and a half without missing a single meal and its all portable. since it will be crunch time im betting i can get away with 3 weeks.
no water really stored only about 20 gallons but lots of iodine tablets. Reality is that whatever water storage i have i wont be able to use anyway, likely i wont be home when the s hits the fan.

I'm gonna grab a beer and watch the news reports of people doing crazy stuff.

How prepared is prepared?

13 days and counting.
if things go wrong my neighbors aren't armed. i'll take their stuff. hit the storage lot for an rv and head for the mountains. ;)

The only threat are natural threats such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions,etc. OR even a nuclear holocaust in the future if no body slows down nuclear arm race. But then again, for that you can't really prepare much.

How it is possible to forget 9/11 This was an attack on USA. After the Cold war ends (1989) USA becomes the biggest supper power (from military point of view) and nobody could contest that. In 2001 in September someone just contested them by attacking us citizens directly. Do you thing that America is safe now?

Well, if the time to die reaches me then i guess there is nothing more that i can do,in the meanwhile life goes on! :)
