    Default JFK Assasination

Bearing in mind that 95% of conspiracies are bullshit, I figured I'd start this section off with an easy one. As much as I like reading about conspiracy theories I very rarely buy into them, personally I am more of a critic. However, the assassination of JFK is in my mind more a question of who was behind the conspiracy than whether it was a conspiracy at all.

    Assassination:
November 22, 1963 is a day not easily forgotten. Even now, countless millions can recall what they were doing the day President John F Kennedy was shot.
It was a bright, clear and almost summer-like day in Dallas. The sky above the Texas School Book repository was free from clouds.
There could be no better day for a parade to welcome the President and yet, within seconds, several bullets struck the presidential limousine at Dealey Plaza, and history was changed forever.
Despite the suppression of vast amounts of evidence and the best attempts of the Warren Commission, in the aftermath of the assassination, to promote the idea that JFK was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone, 73 percent of Americans believe that their president was the victim of a conspiracy.
It's a view that is backed up by the report of the Select Committee on Assassinations of the House of Representatives, which stated: "The Committee believes, on the basis of the evidence available to it, that President John F Kennedy was assassinated as the result of a conspiracy."
A close look at the assassination of JFK produces convincing evidence that Oswald was not acting alone and that a cover-up at the highest levels is still in operation.

    Conflicting Evidence:
Despite the official government opinion that the President was killed by a single shot, there were seven wounds found on JFK and on Governor Connally, one of the passengers in the car. The angles and trajectories of the wounds make a single gunman fairly unfeasible. Lee Harvey Oswald, who was arrested for the murder, was himself assassinated before he could be brought to trail.

    Plausible suspects:
    The CIA
Kennedy was about to disband the CIA due to its corruption, its inability to oust Castro from Cuba, and its general hostility to him since the Bay of Pigs debacle. It is alleged that, in self-defense, the CIA plotted with the Mafia and FBI to kill Kennedy and frame a former double-agent , Oswald, as the killer.

    Cuban Communists/KGB

Fidel Castro and his KGB allies were still smarting from Kennedy's victory in the Cuban Missile Crisis. As revenge they plotted his murder. Their involvement in his death was discovered by the CIA and FBI who had to cover it up to prevent a public outrage that could have led to a World War III.

    The Mafia
JFK and his Attorney-General brother, Robert Kennedy, were close to winning their crusade against organized crime. Attempts to blackmail Kennedy over his adultery had failed, so the Mafia decided to have him rubbed out. It is known that Oswald had connections to Mafia members; just why did small-time Dallas mobster Jack Ruby so conveniently shoot Oswald?

    Military Industrial Complex

Kennedy had plans to pull out of Vietnam. This obviously angered the Military Industrial Complex, which thrives on war. Were connections in the shadowy worlds of the Secret Service and Mafia used to conduct a coup and place Vice President Johnson in the White House? Interestingly, just four days after JFK's assassination, Johnson sent more troops to Vietnam, completely ignoring JFK's recommendations.

FYI: There is quite a few other suspects but these are the ones I find most plausible.

    Most convincing evidence:

One thing that swings it in the favor of the conspiracy theories is the impossibility of the "single bullet theory" accepted by the Warren Commission. It is claimed that the one shot Oswald took from a sixth-floor window entered Kennedy's back, yet rose and flew out of his neck, altering its trajectory to cause the seven wounds found in Kennedy and Governor Connally, in the seat ahead of the President's.

    Most mysterious evidence:
President Kennedy's brain went missing under mysterious circumstances a number of years ago. This is highly suspicious and also very convenient, as modern scientific tests cannot now be carried out to establish the trajectory of the fatal bullets. The tests would have answered once and for all the question of whether there was a second (or even third) gunman.

Didn't I hear something about the government revealing the 'secrets' behind the JFK murder and plotters in 50 years because they fear the truth will hurt the nation? I've read in a book saying that JFK wanted to pull the troops out of Viet Nam to basically end the war but was assassinated. The book also said that the reason that the US went to war was because a submarine was firing torpedoes at a blank target. A general or somebody confessed to the public that they weren't firing at anything, they just blamed the Viet Cong for initiating the war. This alone tells you something is wrong with the US military industrial complex.

I believe as to the why of his assassination it had much to do with executive order 11110. He signed this little ditty not long before he was killed and it would have given power to create and control currency back to the US treasury, something that the FED had usurped back in 1913 with the sneaky passing of the Federal Reserve Act. New currency was actually produced but ended being made about 5 months after his death and circulation stopped. The FED, which is a privately owned and run system, would not have any upstart presidents getting their own ideas and retaking power.

Also, JFK refused to sign off on Project Northwoods which was a detailed plan for a false flag attack on our own soil as a pretext to war with Cuba, another thing that pissed off wallstreet. When you go against the bankers, you die.

I remember having this discussion in school when I was younger, I remember my teacher saying that the government planned to reveal the truth behind the assassination in like 2025 or some crap. Doubt that will ever happen or the real truth will ever be known, but I do remember hearing that.

Isn't it fun to learn that most of what you learned in school was BS?

Well as far as the JFK incident goes, the suspects that stood out to me was CIA and Mafia. But then again it makes you wonder why the alleged "assassin" was murdered as well...

Has anyone ever seen the movie "watchmen"? - im talking about the intro scene where you learn a little about some of the characters... that was a bit funny to me

The JFK assassination goes hand in hand with conspiracy theories it seems. First off, I believe it was rigged and why, the clear film footage that shows the guards being called off just before they turned the corner on demand. By the body language, you can clearly tell one of the guards was thinking "why". The car continued on and we all know the rest. Why would they run side by side to the car and then conveniently be called off, literally seconds before the shots took place. It's an answer that won't be answered in our lifetime but it's a shame like many, an icon, would meet an end like that!.

Can't leave out the biggest evidence:

In the film Zoolander, one of the characters states that male models were responsible for virtually all political assassinations, including that of President Kennedy. When told that Oswald was not a model, the original character states that the shooters from the grassy knoll were.

On a serious note, I just watched JFK again and it is truly amazing how they were able to cover up the most blatant conspiracy in the history of mankind! There was a major shift in power to the people who are directly responsible for the death of a US president and they were able to get away with it.
