    Default Free Symantec Antivirus

Well guys, Rutgers University finally is offering Symantec Antivirus so I thought that any Rutgers students/faculty/staff who are presently affiliated with the university can download it in accordance with Office of Information Technology Guidelines which can be found here: http://mssg.rutgers.edu/documentatio...RADS/#overview

    This is "Symantec Endpoint Protection"

I wouldn't use norton even if I was paid to do so. There are just so many better alternatives that aren't just bloatware.

I'm a big fan of Microsoft Security Essentials lately. Since installing I've had absolutely zero problems, and it works well with windows' firewall settings as well.

There's so many good free AV programs out there- I don't know if I'll ever pay for one again
