    Default Intel Sandy Bridge

What annoys me about intels new range of cpu's is how they all have integrated gpu, yet if you decide to use a p67 chip set its disabled anyway like wise if you use a h67 and discrete graphics card. The integrated gpu really seems to appeal to a smaller target market and its just something id rather not pay for. could someone please explain this to me?

I don't think it makes a really big price difference.
    Maybe non at all.
The new sandy bridge products have the same price as the 1st gen, but with better performance and gpu.
I don't think its bad after all, it just happens that u can run your computer without a graphics card which may appeal to some users which are not into games or graphics design.
But if u want to install a graphics card that won't be a problem because the gpu part will be disabled.

i actually see it as a good thing im using a 460GTX OC but if in the future it ever shits itsself atleast i know i can use onboard and still use the computer till i replace it (or atleast look up prices and order a new one) and i highly doubt it adds hardly anything to the price of the board

It's because they're mainstream segment CPUs.

Enthusiast/Pro segment will be filled with 2011 socket processors later this year :)
I can assure You, they won't have bs like integrated graphics :)

I bet they come with a massively high power draw too :).

Intel has officially told its partners that Ivy Bridge comes in the first half of 2012 and DirectX 11 integrated Intel HD graphics and a new memory controller that now supports two channel DDR3 up to 1600 and it also has support for SO DIMMS if one needs them. The controller supports two modules per channel, so the magical number for memory slots is four.

Although the architecture will be broadly the same as Sandy Bridge, it'll undergo a die shrink from 32nm to 22nm, resulting in smaller chips and increased performance per watt. The CPU's will come in 35W, 45W, 65W and 95W increments making them power compatible with Sandy Bridge parts that are sitting in the same power bracket.

    H67:
    Pro - can use QuickSync
Pro - can save money by not buying a discrete GPU
    Pro - H67 mobo cheaper
Con - No overclocking beyond the limited Turbo overclock which could take the 2600 to 4.3max
Con - more limited selection of ATX mobos.
Con - memory spd limited to 1333

    P67:
Pro - can OC to heart's content
Pro - can run 1600 memory at 1600
Con - will spend $50-75 for a lower to midlevel GPU
Con - P67 mobo more expensive
Pro - more choices of mobo

it sucks that the H67 doesnt let you OC your CPU :(
Anyone who is building their own rig using the sandy bridge architecture most likely will want to OC at one point in the future (if not immidiately) so I dont consider the H67 to even be an option for anyone who knows how to build a PC
