I've been testing several different streaming software
TVersity, Mezzmo, ORB, JRiver, Twonky, and a couple of others - none are the end-all be-all. but i do have a few different requirements
Streaming internally to the LAN - thus a DLNA-compaitble server but i am not finding many that really do a great job with alot of file formats - mkv, flac, ogg, m4v, and several others. some have decent plugins, but may be missing others.
Then there's streaming externally - to my android, to other locations
I've been using audiogalaxy for streaming audio to the andro and external - it's great. Was thinking abouyt setting up a shoutcast server - thoughts?
Internal network for me is a Win server2k8r2 domain.
What do you use and how?
