Thread: Whats your storage setup?

Currently I have one main pc with about 750gigs in. Another box that has 4 hotswappable sata drivebays, (currently empty but will have 8tb in at christmas) And i have a popcorn hour Networked Media Tank with a 2tb Internal drive in it.

I really like my popcorn hour, does an amazing job playing 1080p files of any sort.

What do you guys have? Im pretty interested to see if anyone has 30tb+?

My current server is about as large as the earliest external hard drives. Therefore, all storage devices attached to it are external. I currently have 4TB of storage attached to my server. My workstation has a 160GB drive for / and and a 500GB drive for /home. My laptop has a total of 480GB.

I mount my drives over the internet with NFS (SMB/Windows-style sharing is pure crap, as is most things used and/or misused by Windows). I have a gigabit LAN, so I don't notice any slowdowns. When buying a popcorn hour, I'll have to buy another switch and do some cabling, but then I'll be able to stream 1080p over the network.

I have 1x 500gig, 3x 1TB, 2x 1.5TB... All in my main computer... I plan on selling the 500gig and the 1TB's and buy 4x 2TB... I'll put them all on my current case which is a tower and just buy a small one for my main cpu...

I boot off of a 80GB SSD, use an old 750GB hard-drive for applications/game installs, and a 2GB WD external.

Boot off of a 256GB PCI SSD, and 4x 2TB.

1x 1,5 TB, 1x 750 GB (external), 1x 160 GB

i have enough room for p0rn :D:D

1X 1Tb portable slapped ontop of my wii with all the games in it
1X 80gb ssd in comp as OS
2x 1.5TB in comp
1x 500gb on seedbox lol
