Thread: Apple iPad or HP Slate

Buy an iPad!! you wont regret it. I bought a 32GB wifi/3G model in black a couple of weeks ago for school this fall, and may I say first hand that is is AWSOME. There is not one OS that has more Apps then Apple hands down. Plus, be thinking about what version of the iPad you want if you get one; the wifi or 3G one. Sure they have hot spots alot of places, but think about places that you might not have wifi, like traveling, or going to your grandparents house for the holiday's. 3G is really convinent. If you do go with a 3G version, think about what carrier you want to go with. Verizon or AT&T both have non contract data service for the iPad but both have differnt tier pricing. Verizon has more data options and better coverage but is more exspensive. and AT&T has less data options but are more affordable. Finally choose what color you want, some people say white is begging for attention and some say that black is bland, but my excperience with black so far is a plus. It looks sleeker to me, and it blends in well with all my other gadgets. My friend has a white one and hers looks a tad bit dingy. White WILL show more nicks, dirt and dings so be extra careful if you do pick a white one. I suggest you go to your nearest BestBuy and play around with it; or if you have an Apple store near by, thats even better. Happy choosing :D
