Default Microsoft Office 2007 vs 2010

Well, i'm in the process of formatting my computer and since i have to re-install all the apps that i usually find useful to me, there's something that came up to my mind: how about installing the new Office 2010 instead the 2007 version?

As i don't know anything about this new version i would like to know your opinions... Do you think it is worth the try?
I have to say that i'm pretty satisfied with 2007 but if the 2010 has useful new features, then maybe i'll install this one.

So, i wanna know what you have to say about this and please justify your points of view...

    Update:
I have to say that i only upgraded to 2007 mainly because it was much more used at my University and because i found it was possible to make PPT presentations way more appellative and also because SmartArt.

So i guess i'm not much worried about compatibility issues.

One more question to clarify my doubts: are there (in 2010) real new features in PPT or new SmartArt that could justify the upgrade?
Also i didn't find a 2010 version in my native language without needing to run a crack/keygen every 180 days. That thing also kind of pushed me away...

I'n not a big fan of the new version if I am totally honest. I don't really like the way they have changed the interfaces, makes it extremely difficult to find all the options that you knew where they were on the older versions. Maybe I'm just old fashioned...

    I'm using Office 2003 SP3 on my Win7 64bit.
I'll upgrade when I see any need or advantages.

Honestly, I would simply go with the newer version for compatibility reasons. It doesn't take that long to get used to... and as far as I know, they killed that annoying paperclip.

I've not used 2010 much to be honest. I like it however there is something about 2007 that I just tend to like more. It seems to be laid out better in my opinion.

However I've used 2007 for quite a bit longer so it's kind of a bias opinion.

For the short span of time that I have been using Office 2010 I must admit that it has grown on me. Office 2007 is Like Vista to me, However Office 2010 is Windows 7. If you get what I mean.

Office 2007 all the way cause: familiar with 07 more than the 2010.. I can't change the office almost in every 2 years, and its annoying too.... :P
