    Default Useful Windows application

Ninite Easy PC Setup - Silent Unattended Install Multiple Programs At Once

Basically it installs all the applications you need to automatically. As in, no need to download and install them separately each time you reinstall Windows. Though I think power users would find backups like Acronis to be much more useful, this is a better solution for the casual user because of the "no-brainer" aspect.

I am more in favor of using a backup myself, however this would be useful to me as I tend to work often on other PCs.

Looks to be a huge time saver for the most part. This way I can avoid making numerous backups for all the PCs I work on (friend and family wise). Thanks for the link.

I've used Ninite many times after re-installing Windows or getting other people's computers set up with some decent software.

The only issue that I have with it is that it only installs the programs to their default location. It would be nice if you could change the install path for each of the programs individually. I install Steam to a second hard drive so that my OS drive doesn't get completely filled up with games, so I always have to install that separately.

I would still highly recommend it though.

^ Well as I said if you're a power user who configures installs with custom options (like me) then it isn't of much use, but for the regular user who uses default options then it's convenient.

Is this better than nlite, vlite or the official customization tool of windows 7?
