I dont know about first method, but the second one I tried when battery on my lenovo z61m went dead and it didnt work
Wow! I have never seen a laptop battery pack pried apart. Makes since! My Dell 9 cell battery is not holding the 5 to 6 hours any longer, Its only holding about 45 minutes. Time to see if I boought the extended warrentee and take this puppy in!
