Nuts. I need an upgrade soon but no way near that realm, heh. Don't game enough for that sorta thing these days!

Re. the 950w PSU... I don't really understand the above comments on overkill. The just-release GTX580 uses something in the realm of 250-400w I think? SLI 580s (yeah, overkill for now, but buy one now... get another in the future) and you're looking at ~700w just for video cards! It's a good, future-proofed setup. Nothing wrong with that.

A 450W corsair would keep this configuration without any problem. And if you plan to nring another 250 then you will need a new cpu , OC does good, but can't make the processor fast enought to not create "bootleneck" .

for budget computers you should run amd platform. You would have an much better computer if you took amd this one for example Newegg.com - AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz 4 x 512KB L2 Cache 6MB L3 Cache Socket AM3 125W Quad-Core Processor HDZ955FBGMBOX

You can't put SLI in that one cause Intel chipsets with 775 socket don't support SLI... Or I am wrong and that they've hacked it to work with SLI... And the PCI-E x16 slots, only one supports x16 electrical... The other one is just a x16 with a x4 electrical so your crippled there... Better buy a new mbord if you like to go SLI... You have bottlenecks all over... CPU, RAM, the 1.0 x16 PCI-E slot and the other x16 with x4 electrical... Like the others have said buy them all at once or don't wait for more than 6 months to buy the critical components individually (CPU, RAM, GRAPHICS CARD)... And your PSU is overkill just like the others have said... I have 7 HDD's, an X1950XTX, an E6600 CPU and my 620watts PSU can cope with it... I have also tons of case fans...

Best advice: Wait for Sandy bridge, get a gtx580 and don't fall for SLI... More problems than benefit...

PS: Nice case and monitor... Too bad your mbord, processor, and ram is outdated... Nice mouse too... Razer Copperhead in blue... Just like mine
