    Default building a budget rig.

Im looking into buying new parts for my brother computer that took a shit on him. So far this is what i have in mind:

    EVGA GeForce GTX 260

    G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

    ASUS P7P55D-E Pro LGA 1156 Intel P55 SATA 6Gb

    Intel Core i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz LGA 1156 95W Quad-Core Processor

this will run about $658.96, what do you guys think?

Earlier in the year I had build a rig for a friend that included the same processor. It's a very good solid CPU in my opinion. I haven't used G.SKILL before though so that would be up to you and your experiences with them, however I would recommend Corsair as I have never had a problem with theirs especially when it comes to over clocking.

    Default My Thoughts.......

Kingston is another great Ram source as they also produce quality products. Sounds like you have you head wrapped around this project. Just be sure to double check for any compatability issues and be sure to get the graphics features to handle the new high end video games comming out. They require alot more resources now so plan accordingly. Good luck on your build and keep updated about how it goes. Got my curiosity peeked...........

Kingston, Corsair, G.Skill, Mushkin, Crucial Ballistix all make solid RAM sticks.
