have been using MPC with the CCCP pack. Havent had one problem.
KMplayer FTW.Works best for me.Never Disappointed me.
I use VLC and GOM. Both seem to work just fine for me.

Low CPU consuption, no need of codecs.

mpc is ok for all media, and coming with codec pack.
kmplayer is problemming me on standart definitons, its blocking bad. mpc gives smoother images.
Vlc Player is my favorite. No Codec problems and it works on most Platforms!
VLC & KMP r my favourite.
I vote for media player classic, I always use K lite mega codec pack with MPC.
So simple, so powerful and cool :D
