Thread: the best 2.1 speakers in a mid-range

hello people! i am getting a new pc but i am stuck at my speakers. there are lot of options as what to buy, maybe you could help
which of the following will be the best?
1. altec lansing vs4121
2. logitech z323
3. edifier c2
4. edifier m3300sf

they all are approximately in the same price range from 60-75$
just to add, the edifier c2 comes with most features like an amplifier with the jacks and all..
and one more important thing for me is 360 surround sound. so the one having it could be a better choice for me, i know that logitech has 360 sound, but i dont know about the others..it would be really better if someone tells me which one has 360 and which doesn't

360 surround can be experienced very well you take 5.1 or more like 7.1.if you leave the brand do some research with a good dts recording movie like resident evil you will find the best one.if you want 2.1 then go for altec u have softwares to modify sound in what ever way u want

I used to have the L z323 before I bought 5.1, totally worth the price.

Try 5.1, if you don't have enough money for it, there is a 5.1 simulator on dealextreme.

Good poll, I need to get a new set also, I'm leaning towards the Altec myself

How funny I totally just bought the logitech speakers before reading this thread. There nothing amazing but they sound great and they have an aux for other things

If you need sorround sound buy a true 5.1 or 7.1 set of speakers (mine is creative 5900), don't rely on surround emulations by 2.1 sets or by software ;)
