The ISP will often disable the customer's Internet connection for security (and billing) reasons."

So by changing my MAC address is it possible that my ISP might disable my internet?
You should check your router configuration..my netgear has a specific option :
Internet Ip address-->dynamic loading from ISP or Use static Ip address
and I use the first one.

I really like IDM, it allows me to limit the download speed so I can keep browsing normally.

1-2 mbps huh? That sounds really good but my question is if your using free service can you download more than 1 file at a time and also correct me if I'm wrong but is it possible to download only 1 file thats 700mbs? Usually there a limit on the file size and they'll have 8 different rar's for a complete movie.

I use FlashGet and I love it. Increase my download speed from 200-400 KB/s to 1.2-1.5 MB/s.
