When using Filezilla for FTP, I am only able to transfer 2 files at a time. Does any one know how to increase this number to, say, 5 or so?

At the top left of the application, go to File-> Site Manager. In site manager you are going to setup a new connection with the host your are connecting with.
First, it could be the server your connecting to limiting the number of transfers you're allowed. Otherwise try this:
Go to the "Transfer Settings" tab and either 'deselect' 'Limit Simultaneous Connections' OR Select Limit Simultaneous connections and increase the # (to 10) for the Maximum Number of Connections
Also found this: instead of having to go through all this in filezilla client :
Edit Menu > parameters > Transfers section > update value of number of simultaneous transfers > Click OK
I would love it if there was just a dropdown somewhere on the main interface to change the number of simultaneous transfers
The above posters are correct, however, bear in mind that it might be a limitation of the server, only two files per IP. They do that sometimes.
