If I can find seeder on a file in torrent, I never use warez. But if I can't download from torrent, at that case I use warez.

Yes, they were actually copyright infringement warnings and I believe both times were from ISOHUNT ... I know,I know - but Demonoid is the only tracker that I belong to. The waiting times suck unless you have a premium account and the download manager..
Well, that is why I am here, because demonoid is the only semi-private tracker I belong to so I just download movies from warez, although as soon as I get into a private tracker site, I am going to totally dump the warez.
Thanks for your input.

warez is more secure as it's 99.9% of the time a hacked server you are downloading from, so the host never knows they are serving files - although, torrents with multiple seeds will max out your connection, and that's a rare thing with warez.
I have been using warez few years ago, when i was connecting to the internet through my university and couldn't use p2p because of their firewall.
But since i got my own connection i forgot what warez is. It's easier for me to find it on torrents. I didn't came across application/movie/music band or anything that i couldn't find on torrents, but could on warez sites.
zzz you stole my answer! lol I do use both warez and torr. They both have their need in my world.
I never use Warez. The waiting times are really annoying. (I don't want to pay for prem. account) Torrents, when in a private tracker, is safe and mostly secure.
You can mostly check the safety of a torrent by reading the comments, before downloading.
So yeah, torrents are epic ;D
I used to download numerous files from IRC and RS, but have obviously fallen back to BT. Similar to what someone stated earlier, torrents seems to be the safer route. Private trackers really do have far less virus-infected files and I don't make false positive from the patches/cracks either.
I just thought I would say that warez is not a form of downloading, it's simply one of the many terms designated to pirated software. If anything, I think you mean DDL (direct download) vs. Torrents, that is of course if you are referring to Warez forums where you download via uploading websites such as Rapidshare, Megaupload. Mediafire, etc.
But to stay on topic, I prefer torrents mainly because of faster speeds and a more legit/accurate download. Also no wait times, no paying for memberships to sites, and no annoying "multiple parts" to download off of different links (a torrent has them packed all into one .torrent file). However it also depends on the type of release you are looking for. I have found most torrent sites to be pretty terrible when it comes to iND types of releases for small applications (0day kind of apps), such as programs that no groups in the scene have taken the time to crack. For some reason alot of crackers prefer to upload their releases to those sites as opposed to torrent sites. So basically I use torrenting for my primary downloads, then fall back to newsgroups, then fall back to DDL communities as my last resort.
