Dropbox Referrals Thread

Hey all,

Heard of Dropbox? If you haven't got it installed, you should probably install it now. It's a brilliant, brilliant free program and web app that allows you to sync files and folders across PCs and the web easily and seamlessly. I'd be lost without the program. You can even use it to start torrent downloads remotely. You should Google search for "Dropbox ~tips" (leave in the ~, it'll get you more results), and you'll see the sheer number of things you can make it do (you can even host your own website on it).

So, what's the idea of this thread? Basically, when you start of with Dropbox, you've got 2 GB free storage. If you refer somebody, Dropbox will give both of you an extra .25 GB, up to a maximum of 8 GB. So, if you refer 32 people, you'll have 10 GB total storage, with each of the people you refer each receiving .25 GB extra.

The idea of this thread is to post your referral code. If somebody comes along, and uses your code, you'll both get something out of it. It's a win, win situation. So, just post your referral codes below if you've already joined.

I never understood the biggie about dropbox. I got an account at x10hosting.com for free, yes an unlimited account for free, because of some bug on their website.

Sure it's clever and all, syncing smaller files across the internet for quick and easy use, but Windows FTP client does the same without extras needed to be installed.
