Thread: Popcorn Hour

I have had the C-200 for a couple of months now and even though the user interface is kinda crap and it took some time (and a few firmware upgrades) to get it just right, I think it's awesome. Plays every format I throw at it...

Anyone else have one?

I have a A-110 for 2 years now. I think I watched close to 1000 episodes of various TV series and tons of movies on it, so it was definitely a great investment.

Hey I just recently noticed a problem with a couple of my rips where i cant hear the voice track, but i can hear the music ok. Ever seen that? Seems to be with a very small percentage of rips (A couple of Simpsons and The Office episodes)...

Voices and music are usually on one track so it can't be that. Do you have the audio output of the Popcorn Hour set to 5.1, but are using a stereo setup to play it? Then those voices could be missing because they are on channels that you don't have speakers for. Just set it to always output stereo and they voices should return.

I was thinking about popcorn hour but i have tv and pc in same room so i really don't need PH cause i have connected via HDMI LCD and my PC.
But it's good for other, it have uTorrent and you can download movies without turning on your pc

I have a WDTV. My only issue with it is the lack of support for ogm files. Other than that it's an awesome device. Does popcorn Hour play ogm files?

I have an Egreat M34A which is a cheaper version of the popcorn hour. It runs pretty much anything. It looks slick with YAMJ. My main complaint is that after you play one 1080 movie you can't play another cause it eats up the ram. I've read it's a problem with some of the YAMJ skins.
