Default Installing a copy of *cough*hacked*cough* Windows 7 via Bootcamp

    Hi guys!

I was wondering if there was a way for me to install a version of Windows 7 downloaded off a torrent site onto bootcamp? I know how to install windows/use a loader, but some steps to follow would be mighty fine =].

Also, I'd like parallels (also a [K] copy) to run it.

    Any help? ^^

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I dual boot XP + 7, and I just used GParted to create a partition. Then I just installed 7 on that partition. You may already know how to do this, but throwing it out there just in case :)

Oh, I guess I should mention this is for a mac? =P

Dual booting on windows computers = easy.

Dual booting with macs = easy, but hard if you didn't pay for windows >;P.

It will be easy, just make sure you copied the .iso to the disc correctly and it will work like a charm.

EDIT: i've never used bootcamp though so I'm not too sure how that works.

    Well, I guess bootcamp isn't a must.

But what you're saying is that I'll be able to run parallels and windows 7 (both "extended trial" versions) without any problems? ^^ I won't use bootcamp if I don't have to =D.

Im actually doing this for a friend! Seems to me boot camp only supports windows xp and vista! To get windows 7 on their via bootcamp requires special drivers, for what Im told! I am going the go ahead with a copy of windows 7 enterprise edition without key, and a crack! Not sure what the crack is for because you dont need key but it probably verifies, and changed or something. I forgot I read an article, and it's not the same like the good old days of windows xp enterprise edition.! I will let you know how it goes! Ciao!

    Default Update!

Just got it running. Installed Via BootCamp. No Password. This is the file name. Please burn accordingly, you would have to delete some files to fit on a regular dvd. Tested and Working. I hope you get it working. This is the file name.

Yeah I've installed Windows 7 on multiple macs and never really ran into to many issues. I think I had one issue once where I needed to add something(Don't remember exactly) but usually when I install it it goes through fine.
