Default Help Needed for FlexGet Installation in Windows

So I've decided to install FlexGet to help with my ratio building efforts on a few hard to seed trackers. However, the instructions available here: InstallWizard/Windows – FlexGet leave much to be desired in terms of comprehensibility with respect to a Windows install (I'm running Win7) as far as I am concerned. I have successfully installed Python and believe I installed the so-called "easy install" but have failed miserably in installing the .egg file FlexGet comes with.

I stand by ready with + rep for assistance to anyone who can help me out of this conundrum. I may (will almost certainly) have follow up questions if I ever get this program installed.

    Thank you.

I realize this isn't what you're asking for, but doesn't utorrent have a similar rss function built in to it? I don't use it myself as my torrents are on a linux box, but this might be worth looking into if you haven't already.
Like I said I have no experience with flexget on windows but I do use it on linux (although I have no idea how much overlap there is). But maybe you could be a bit more specific as to where you feel it goes wrong. What kind of output do you get when trying to install the .egg?

edit: Just tried it on my own windows 7 pc and got it working with relative ease. I'm still not a windows expert, but I think I can help you if you post some details as to where it goes wrong for you. You can also PM me if you like.

UPDATE: FlexGet installed, + rep left, thank you! /thread

OK, thanks. I have to use Deluge with my seedbox and with the version I have, you can't use the FlexRSS plugin thus my misadventures with FlexGet. I am much more familiar with utorrent. Anyway, since this is probably an issue specific to me and my own lack of knowledge over the subject matter, I'll send you my specifics in PM and would be grateful for your help.
