Anyone can explain to me the differnece in nvidia cards between the GT and GTS? which is better?
i dunno but i have 256mb nvidia geforce 8600 GTS and tested against the 512mb nvidia geforce 8600 GT and mine is more powerful :D
It varies depending on which series you have. On the 8800 series the GTS was released 1st as the 'second from top' model under the GTX. The GT was released later and offered a better price / performance point.
There are various technical differences, but the 512MB GTS is slightly better than the 512 MB GT.
Depends on the GPU Model. The old 8800 one was GTS and GTX, then GTS, GT, and GTX. The GT at that time performed almost the same as a GTX but smaller and efficent. Then it became GTS got upgraded and ran similar to GT.
The newer ones now should be the clock its running at, memory, size, and some minor specs. Usually its GTS over GT.
The main difference is clocking power. The GS cards are clocked the lowest, GT is middle, and GTS has the highest clocking power. Therefore the GTS cards will perform the best. However, they also cost the most money.
Possibly just a slight difference in memory and clock frequencies? That is my guess.
