dell studio xps i7 quad core hdmi want fit on the back
hi all i got the new dell studio xps 8000 i7 quad core series its got a proper hdmi cable on the back and my video card supports hdmi also but the hdmi cable that i have got want seem to connect to it or go in the hdmi slot i use this hdmi for everything xbox360 and ps3 do i need a different hdmi cable for dekstop pcs to connect to hdtvs do i need to buy another hdmi cable if so which one should i buy ?

Are you plugging it in upside down?
HDMI should have only one size and orientation. As far as I know, mini-HDMI died a quiet death.
A picture of both would help immensely in determining whether there's a mismatch. You may actually have a DisplayPort plug.
