It looks like I have blinked again and my computer sits at an extremely laggy state. I will post my specs here I want to know what I should upgrade? Why? And what to?
My budget is roughly $600. That can change based on your guys recommendations of course but if you can stay within the budget great!

So here is what I got:
    * A full tower case with room in it for 2 computers so no problem there. (Ultra Aluminus Mid Tower ATX Case Black)
*Ultra X-Wind Copper Fan 2200rpm 775 up to 3.8ghz (yes I only have one fan :S)
*Seagate 500GB Serial ATA HD 7200/16MB/SATA-3G(x2)
*Windows Vista Ultimate 64-bit DSP OEM DVD
*XFX nForce 680i LT SLI Socket 775 Motherboard
    *Intel Pentium D 925 3Ghz DT 800FSB Socket 775
    *Corsair 4096MB PC6400 DDR2 800MHz (2x2048MB) DHX (Recent upgrade)
*Ultra XVS 500w Modular PSU Black
    *geforce 250 GTS (Recent upgrade)

I did some stress tests and I'm pretty sure it's my processor as it is always maxed out. Essentially I want to turn this beast back into the I can do everything and still have room to move. While playing games I don't want to experience lag anymore. If you need any other information feel free to ask. Thanks a lot guys!

Have you thought of reformatting with windows 7 instead of Vista - you would probably pick up a small amount of speed straight away by doing that.

You could drop in a Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 for about $200AUD and a XFX ATI HD5850 xXx Edition for about $400AUD (however if you can hang on a bit longer there should be some sweet new videocards out soon)

haha really is my video car out dated already? =(
Anyhow I'm actually look at a AMD quad core.

Also other good news is my buddies computer blew up....well not so good. Good news is I'm selling this one for about $500 and building another one from scratch. I actually pieced it together today and it looks like i'll only be spending another 400-500 in total. But i will definitely keep your recommendations in mind, thank you.

Lol yeah they don't last long these days. I can remember paying $800+ for the latest cards back in the day(only several years ago) don't even try to keep up anymore.

Checkout the AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 3.40GHz 8MB Cache (AM3) - Black Edition approx $200AUD but you will need a new mobo and probably new DDR3 ram.

Oh sorry i meant GTX not GTS graphic card, that' s probable why.
And yes that is the processor i was looking at quite nice and it is and cheap. I'm buying new ram as well and new mother board but everything is within cost surprisingly.

Edit: 260 GTX? I have no idea anymore. lol
