Thats madness lol, it has more space on it than my laptop! But would anyone need that amount of portable files? Surely if there was an occasion where u needed to bring along alot of files wouldn't an external hardrive be better (money wise) and even a laptop be even more practical?

still I like the idea of being able to carry all your files in your pocket

I wonder how much money it actually takes for them to be manufactured...

For the curious, that's about 6 hours to fill the drive and 3 hours to dump it all.

The only reason I could fathom for buying one of these instead of a portable hard drive is the convenience of a small form factor. A 2.5" SSD with external enclosure meets requirements for shock tolerance and power draw, but a USB stick is still a quarter its size and doesn't require a separate cable.

I bet in a few years you could get it for a fraction of the price. The prices of flash drives have dropped like a stone over the last few years. As well this flash drive would significantly benefit from USB 3.0.

That's crazy, I would much rather spend the money on an external hard drive, it's not as compact but who cares.

Its quite useless in my opinion. You could easily find a 2.5 SSD at that size at a fraction of the price and stick it in an enclosure. And if your concerned about a separate cable, they have enclosure that have integrated connectors. But hey, progress is progress :)
