Have you tried uninstalling the program, running a registry cleaner, and re-installing?

I am new at this can you please tell me step by step how to apply the patch once it is installed. It says not to reboot.
    Thanks

Don't use the patch dude. Just down the latest version of NOD32 then head to nod321 dot com and use one of the latest passes to update the trial into full. Passes will be valid for a few months or so, then just update the pass when nod32 says invalid user/pass.

Malwarebytes is a great program, it removes a lot of malware and viruses that lots of other programs cannot.

But where it is great, is also its fatal flaw. Malwarebytes can break your computer! As a computer tech, i have serviced thousands of computers and have seen malwarebytes break quite a few. Due to its high end removal process, this can also cause problems with legit files being removed. as malwarebytes tries to RIP out the infection, it can and will take system files if the infection is tied to them.

Use at your own risk :)

You are never going to find perfect real time anti malware detection unfortunately. It's too easy to create variants these days. You could install an HIPS like CSA that monitors all activity, but on a box doing file sharing these typically are a pain to setup effectively.
