    Default Interesting Softwares

I am a person who likes to try out new softwares daily. Some i come across as interesting and some are pretty much the same as the others. I want to ask all the member of TI to post the name of interesting and out of the blue softwares that they have come across. For ease of reading please include a short description of the software after its name and the targeted operating system.

    Thanks

Extract Now - A small Windows application that extracts files from multiple archival formats and also supports batch extraction. A great for those people who download packs and have to sit to extract each episode one by one.

i have tried out this site but the issue is that the software offered has to be installed that day only and not on any other day .. so i cant keep the installation for a rainy day !

Ascariboy, + Rep for you because I was going to start a similar thread.

A little-known application that I've found to be insanely useful for my particular office set-up is KaVoom KM.

It is is a virtual KM switch that allows you to use your network to share a keyboard/mouse between multiple computers as opposed to a hardware KVM switch. This is very useful if you have another monitor sitting on your desk that is connected to a secondary computer.

They also have a KVM version of their software that supports virtual monitor sharing, but I have no use for this, as I just use remote desktop for all the PCs in my house that are not physically close to me.

Unfortunately, because of how the application uniquely registers itself - I don't think it's possible to use this program (outside of the trial period) without purchasing it. I believe this program is only available for Windows (Win7, Vista, XP, Server 2003, 2000).

Another program I use daily and find to be very useful is UltraMon - though this one is a bit more well known. UltraMon is a multi-monitor utility that significantly enhances the capabilities and convenience of a multi-monitor setup. Again, I believe this one is only available for a Windows-based environment.

Something I use very often is Hirens boot CD. It not just on application but a bundle of software to be used to help diagnose and repair computers. I have it installed on a bootable thumbdrive so that I have at my disposal all of the time. Check it out at Hiren's Boot CD 10.1 and All Other Versions - HTTP Download. It has tons of very usful programs that can be run from startup or through windows.

You don't really need to bump this, especially in the computer section rofl
Dziobas - Play RAR files without needing to unRAR them. Love this program
CClearner - Deletes all the unwanted crap on your computer. Love this program too
