Do you have a laptop or desktop and what video card? Does your TV accept VGA input? You could just connect S-Video output to S-Video input on TV but thats not optimal for 720p. You could also go from VGA output to RCA input but that doesn't work well either. If you have a desktop I would purchase a video card that can handle HD material well and has an DVI/HDMI output so that you can connect it to your TV.

I'm not sure that VGA will give you 720p. Or I'm retarded.
I'd suggest buying a cheap video card like this one:
Newegg.com - POWERCOLOR AX4350 256MD2-H Radeon HD 4350 256MB 64-bit GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFire Supported Video Card - Desktop Graphics / Video Cards
That has an HDMI port.
Another option if you have a newer console and a home network is to stream, ive just recently started doing this and even with HD content its streams very well, some hiccups if you like to fast forward a lot though.
I have a laptop so I can't change video card.
hdmi converter? S-video to HDMI? I'm not sure if that works.
ye go electronic store and get a S-Video to HDMI adapter cable
ie: HDMI to S video cable? - VideoHelp.com
hdmi to svideo
AHHHHHH is there any cheaper option? because s-video to hdmi requires a converter box to work properly
Again, my recommendation is that you check if your TV can accept VGA input, in which case you'll be all set. Otherwise, I would purchase a new videocard to replace in your laptop or go with an external videocard option. They make videocards that plug in to usb and add a dvi-port so you can plug it into your TV. I would check what videocard you have now as it may not even be capable of driving HD material on a television. In addition you DON'T want to go from S-Video to HDMI its a terrible idea.

Yeah my tv doesn't support VGA or else I wouldn't be asking.
Yes, my video card is supposedly able to support 720p
Can you tell me more about this external video card option?
