W7 64 bit, because you need 64 bit to install 4 or more GB of rams.

If you have the memory and plan on using some of the new products coming out like Adobe's After Effects then 64 bit would be the way to go.

Windows 7 32 bit is better as compared to 64 bit,for W7 64 bit many programs do not accept.

It is old news now that 64 bit os is not supported by most of the apss or the games and it is slower.

Trust me if you have more than 4 gigs ram there is not any reason not to put 64bit os.

I use Win7 Professional 64 bits, because my system is running with 8GB RAM, that a 32 bit system does not support.

Personal opinion? 64bit, even with only 4gb. Why? more like, why not? You can run 64bit apps, and run 32bit apps. and get like, I think 512mb or so extra ram? (32-bit cuts some off the 4gb to run the OS).

    I don't really see a downside to using 64bit over 32bit.
