I did but then my mobo fried a few weeks ago and you can't increase the NB voltage on this piece of junk. No OC For me. When I did I had a Q6600 @ 3.2GHz on all air cooling though, it was sick!

From 2.66GHz to 3GHz on my E6750. I was hoping it would work without spending extra money on cooling, but I was wrong so I was forced to revert it back.

e8400 to 4.0 on air here. Aftermarket cooling is a must, especially if you are like me and need a low-noise solution for a very very hot room.

Very nice mecht!! I have the e8400 cpu and it really is an outstanding cpu. I have overclocked my gpu (8800gt) but i havnt overclocked my cpu yet,just like mecht said an aftermarket cpu cooler is a must which i have but i need a better one to really push this thing,im expecting 4ghz on air from this baby!!!.

Do I overclock? I have PC with Intel Q9550 2.8GHz, 2 GB Corsair RAMs & Palit HD4870 1GB video card which is still good and fast with the latest softwares. So it's a no, unless the application or game REALLY demands it. Meaning is my game crawling with low FPS and stutters badly that it ruins gameplay or my 3D animation video playing like a slideshow? If yes is the answer, it's time for me to overclock.

DudeOnFire, that rig is great, better than mine. Except only 2gb ram. Cant u fit moar??

Heyman32 you got 3.2 Ghz on air and that's a 65nm CPU right? What's goin on your mind? Haha. Your's is hotter than mine if OC'ed AFAIK. If I'm planning to overlock maybe I'll get a V10 (if it fits) or a V8 for my CPU. Yeah only got 2GB, fairly adequate for my needs. ATI for life baby, NOT!
