Default Want a super PC but don't have the money? Think again!

So you want to build a PC that will max out any game that you throw at it, but alas, you don't have enough money? Or do you? Think again. All it takes is 550 US dollars or 400 UK pounds to build a PC that will max out any game, guaranteed!

Note: I do not take credit for these builds. I found them on another forum.

    UK ULTIMATE £400 GAMING RIG.

Just like the rig for US posters, this is a config that uses the absolute best "bang for buck" components whilst sticking to a strict £400 budget. The basic components are similar but I've used parts that are better priced at Ebuyer in order in come in on budget.

    [Motherboard (ASUS M4A78 770)]: ASUS M4A78 770 Socket AM2+ 8 channel audio ATX Motherboard - Ebuyer (£55.86)
    [CPU (Phenom ii X2 550)]: http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/s...html?AMD-X2550 (£79.99)
    [RAM (OCZ Titanium 4GB DDR2 800)]: OCZ 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 800MHz/PC2-6400 Titanium Memory Kit CL4(4-4-4-15) - Ebuyer (£34.99)
    [GPU (XFX HD 4870 512MB)]:XFX HD 4870 512MB GDDR5 Dual DVI HDTV Out PCI-E Graphics Card - Ebuyer (£99.99)
[DVD (22X Samsung DVDRW)]: Samsung SH-S223F 22X DVD±RW/RAM/DL Serial ATA Black Bare Drive - OEM - Ebuyer (£15.56)
[Case/PSU (Coolermaster Centurion 5 and Coolermaster eXtreme Power Plus 550w PSU)]: Coolermaster Centurion 5 All Black Case + 550W eXtreme Power Plus PSU - Ebuyer (£74.79)
[HDD (WD CAVIAR BLACK 640GB)]: Western Digital 640GB Hard Drive SATA300 7200rpm 32MB Cache Caviar Black - OEM - Ebuyer (£51.79)

    Total cost = £412.97 delivered

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------

As you can see here, for 550 measly dollars, you can build a PC that would easily be 2000 dollars pre-built! It's easy to build a PC! There are many guides on the internet. I will link to a great tutorial on how to.

I hope this helps anyone who wants to build a great PC. If you have any questions feel free to ask!

    Newegg.com is awesome.
    I prefer it.

    Also try: tigerdirect.com, amazon.com, ebay.com, google.com (product page).

Building saves an extreme amount of money... I build a Core-i7 system for 1300 that rivals an alienware $5000 system. Then I overclocked beating it.
