I will agree with Bronwater, desktops usually offer better comfort and performance. But I suppose that Rosey need the mobility a laptop provides.

If you want a laptop for gaming, then try cyberpowerpc.com and build your own. but i'd still prefer a desktop.
if money is no object then I'd go w/ dell they recently aquired Alienware and you can fully customize your laptop but if you want true power go with a desktop
The new Dell XPS 16', or Toshiba Qosmio. They are smooth. :)
But if you are at home, you can build a far more impressive desktop PC than spending money on a gaming-notebook.
By the way gamer notebooks go very-very hot during gaming, what isn't comfortable for your hand. :(
If you have money to throw around search Killer Notebooks. I'm not sure if they are still in business, but they make completely custom laptops, and they are pretty customizable too. Like I said, they'll cost you dearly, something nice for around 3000$ probably or more.
i cant actually tell u the best laptop....but just in case u're thinking of getting one of those alienware i7 laptops, be aware that many of the i7 laptops have a stuttering audio problem atm that hasnt been fixed yet :(
dell xps m1730 it runs cod mw exelent its a little big but aside from that its ok
