Heya mates. Ok. So I am buying a pair of hard drives this week and I'd love to hear your opinion about which drive to get a pair of. Firstly:

I intend to use them for gaming and multimedia.

Secondly, I intend to do a fresh install of XP Pro, x86(32bit).

Thirdly I am planning on running a striped RAID-0 setup.

If the drive is less than $200 or so, I may even buy 3.

I'm looking for speed, reliability and overall good performance. And I would prefer to have 250-500GB of storage among all drives- with at least 7,200RPM across the board.



With that said, could you please hep me make a decision in the SPECIFIC model you would buy yourself in my situation, and a brief explanation on why? I want to be this precise because I know that even across one manufacturer, all drives are not created equal.
