    give it a few years and this will be down to $30-50 and being called crap, and they just announced a new 1 TB thumb stick for $500.

    and the cycle continues.

    I agree with some above posters though. Spend that same amount and get multiple TBs of space in an external. And the dimensions of externals are coming down just as quickly as the capacity is going up.
