i find google chrome much faster than both IE (ew) and firefox, its an excellent browser!
there is only 1 fatal flaw. there is a built in unique id asigned to you when google chrome is intalled which could potentially allow google to see EXACTLY what you do while using google chrome, which is a big no no. there is ways to remove this code, but i switched back to firefox due to this.
Google already knows exactly what you do. I remember googling for "i7" because I wanted a new processor and later, when I was logged into Gmail, all of the adsense ads were for an i7 despite me not having any emails about it (they also give ads based on email contents, but that's obvious). It's just the cost of using these "free" products, and you shouldn't be so worried about it.
