Just wanted to let everyone at TI know the official Windows 7 RC download page is online. Here is your chance to test out Windows 7.

The 32- and 64-bit versions of Windows 7 RC are available in five languages: English, German, Japanese, French, and Spanish. Just choose the version that fits the system you'll be using, pick your language, and click go to register for and download the RC.

Downloading the Windows 7 RC could take a few hours. The exact time will depend on your internet provider, bandwidth, and traffic. The good news is that once you start the download, you won't have to answer any more questions – you can walk away while it finishes. If it gets interrupted, it'll restart where it left off. So is the RC like the finalized version...? because i have Build 7052 (32-bit) installed right now and i'm wondering if i should also DL this..

This is RC (Release Candidate) which is a re-release version of Windows 7. When you use the RC, your PC sends information to Microsoft to help them check the fixes and changes they made based on Beta tests.


The RTM (Ready to Manufacture) will be the final testing of Windows before it gets released to the consumer. I think this is the Bulid 7100, and i think it includes Windows XP Mode Beta, just because of this new feature i would re-download it.
